I have not had a minute in the last week to blog. Our household has been buzzing with activity. We have done a whole lot more canning this week, more chokecherries, more grapes, more pear butter. We have more to do - tomato sauce and applesauce.
In addition to all the harvest activities we are happy to say that we completed the 4th annual UP5K this morning. The week was full of prize pick ups, registration forms, and to do lists! My sigh of relief is for the run. Happy that it went well, we raised several thousand dollars for scholarships and best of all people had FUN. Todd and I will be tying up loose ends paperwork wise this weekend, but by Monday at 5pm I will be done with another year of co-chairing duties.
As soon as I get a picture or two from our photographer - I will add one to this post.
Miss Kellan informed me today that she will run the 5K race when she is three. I am sure she will and now I have something to look forward too for next years event! How time flies. The first run we did was 5 days after we found out we were pregnant; the 5th annual will have our little bug running 3 miles. CRAZY I say, crazy.
